Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
As we head into this Thanksgiving week, I would like to share with you a few of the things that I am thankful for.
For starters, I am thankful for that which is so easy to take for granted—my health, family and friends.
I am also grateful I get to spend my days doing something that I am so passionate about that it doesn’t feel like work. As a matter of fact, I love what I do so much that I no longer dread Monday mornings.
I’m grateful for every time I see the light bulb go off on a teen’s face when they have heard a truth for the first time, causing them to connect the dots between their current choices and their future realities.
I am grateful for every letter I read from a teen that indicates they will make better decisions to not only protect their future, but their child’s future as well.
I am grateful that every day I get to meet and talk with teens who give me hope for the future.
Of course I can’t list all of the things I’m grateful for without including you.
Thank you for clicking on the emails that appear in your inbox every week, if you are a subscriber. And if you’re not subscribed, what are you waiting on? I do not take it lightly that you are willing to spend your precious time reading about my daily discussions with teens.
Thank you for sharing my posts on your social media sites and forwarding the emails to your friends, youth pastors and even your children.
But most importantly, thank you for your prayers!
I’m blessed to share my journey with you!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
