Christmas Gifts for Teen Daughter

Tis the Season for Giving!

But let’s face it.

Trying to find the perfect gift for a teenager that has lasting meaning and creates fond memories, is more than a challenge.

Especially in a consumer-driven culture that values stuff over significance.

Sound familiar?

Don’t worry!

If you’re still looking for that “special” gift for your daughter, I have some ideas…

(The majority of them are FREE and will only cost you a little time and effort).

1.Together Time

Are you ready for my first gift idea?

Great! Because it’s from Chick-fil-A.

I promise, it’s not a sandwich. 😉

It’s something much more meaningful…Together Time.

Check out this powerful video to learn more…

You can give your daughter the gift of time with the help of Chick-fil-A’s Time Shop.

“Give the gift of time: Surprise a friend or family member with a special Time Card, available at the Time Shop…Just fill one out and we’ll mail it for you.”

They offer Time Cards for everything from movie nights, to playing your daughter’s favorite board game to going to her favorite pizza restaurant.

But here’s the thing: This offer is only available while supplies last.

Time Card orders placed by 12/10 should be delivered before Christmas. Delivery is only available within thd 50 United States, with the exception of U.S. military post office (APO/FFO) addresses.

So, click the button below and sign-up today!

2. White Envelope Project

When I first heard about The White Envelope Project, I was hooked.

It’s an initiative of Giving 101, a non-profit organization that educates young people about the importance of giving.

And the story of how their White Envelope Project originated will touch your heart.

Read about it below, but be sure to have a box of tissues handy.

If you decide to give your daughter a White Envelope of her own this Christmas, Giving 101 will mail you one, along with an embossed card and a print of the original story.

It’s an awesome gift to give your daughter while encouraging her to give back at the same time.

3. Experiences vs. Things

If your daughter is like the average teen in the U.S., she has her fair share of STUFF. Right?

Clothes, shoes, electronics, beauty products, jewelry, you name it.

But how many new, first-time experiences has she had?

Like going to her first Broadway play?

Or her first scavenger hunt?

Instead of buying your daughter more STUFF for Christmas, why not take her on her first college tour instead?

Or a trip to a city and/or tourist attraction she’s never been before.

How much more meaningful AND memorable would a first-time experience be to your daughter than receiving a new pair of jeans or bottle of perfume?

Just something to think about…

4. Her Life in Pics

If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much would a book of pictures of your daughter be worth to her?

Recently, my friend’s husband uncovered a stack of old cd’s with pics (and video) of their two kids when they were babies.

And guess who spent hours going through them?

Their almost 13-year-old daughter who’s in the 7thgrade.

According to my friend, she was tickled pink to see those earlier memories made with her family.

Who knew something so seemingly insignificant as a cd of old photos could mean so much to a soon-to-be teen?

I bet your daughter would be tickled pink to receive a photo album/picture book of cherished memories from her life as a tiny tot to now too.

5. The Letter Every Mom Should Write Her Teen Daughter

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a link to a FREE guide that will help you with my last gift idea…

Letter for mom to write daughter

Am I biased for including it as one of my gift ideas?

Maybe a little.

But I truly believe writing a letter to your daughter is one of the most meaningful and memorable gifts you could ever give her.

And that’s why I created a guide to help you write one.

The Letter Every Mom Should Write Her Teen Daughter walks you through word by word, how to write a heartfelt letter to your daughter that…

…shares your hopes and dreams for her future

…applauds the attributes you admire most about her

…recounts some of your favorite memories spent together

Why is this important?

Because it boosts your daughter’s sense of self-worth and confidence to know what you really think of her.

And you can never put a price tag on that!

Go here to download The Letter Every Mom Should Write Her Teen Daughter today and bless your daughter with a Christmas gift that keeps on giving!

Which of the above gift ideas do you plan to give your daughter this year (if any)? And why?

Please be sure to share pics of your daughter receiving the gift by emailing me at info@jackiebrewton.com.

I can’t wait to hear or see how your gift-giving goes!

P.S. With all the sales commercials and ads we’re bombarded with this time of year, I know it’s tempting to buy your daughter more STUFF. But I encourage you to choose SIGNIFICANCE instead. Any of the ideas I shared in this post would make for a meaningful and memorable gift for your daughter. But if you had to pick just one, of course I’m going to suggest you pen your daughter a heartfelt letter with the help of my FREE guide, The Letter Every Mom Should Write Her Teen Daughter. 😉

P.P.S. I would be remiss to not also mention the gift many of the girls in my classes say they’re going to to request for Christmas: A copy of 7 Secrets Guys Will Never Tell You: A Teen Girl’s Guide on Love, Sex, and Retionships

And as always, please share this post with any parents you know who could benefit from these gift ideas for their daughters. Thank you and happy gift-giving!
